My Family Laugh

I grew up in an abusive home, my parents divorced when I was 6 months old so my Dad was never a part of my life growing up. And my mom was a drug addict. She died when I was 10. As a little girl I dreamt of something wonderful-something different-my own family-with lots of love! God got a hold of my heart when I was 18 and forever changed my heart and life. I have a hand full of photos from my childhood. No wonderful memories no special words or notes to go along with them, just a lot of hurt that my God continues to heal. God has blessed me with my beautiful family! I have an amazing husband who loves God and serves his country- he is my truly my hero! He is the best Dad, he makes our life together so much fun! He dances and plays Barbie’s with our daughter and he fishes, hunts, and wrestles with our sons (and daughter too!) We have the most adorable children in the whole world, I’m so grateful beyond words that God picked me to be there Mom- they will never know a minute of what I went through as a child. They will know every day that I love and treasure them! And someday when I’m not around to say it anymore-they will have so many precious memories- and my scrapbooks filled with love notes and pictures to remind them. This is my legacy of love. I scrapbook my passion-my family-my treasure from God!
